I've always viewed wrestlers as being asses outside of their profession from the stories i've heard, i used to watch it but at around the age of 10 you start to realise how fake it is

Snuka's girlfriend died in his apartment (or motel room?) in 1983.

Snuka's explanation was that she had slipped and fell, striking her head on a rock during an argument at a highway rest-stop. Instead of going to the hospital, she stayed in his room to rest. Only she and Snuka know for certain how much of the incident was deliberate versus accidental.

Somehow, Vince K McMahon talked the cops into believing that Snuka was an illiterate simpleton who spoke no English. The correct combination of words and the possible exchange of money made the incident virtually disappear.

According to some sources, Snuka had exhibited extremely violent behavior to this woman (and/or previous girlfriends) in the past. The same source claimed that an anonymous caller to her family warned them that Snuka was more than capable of killing her.
