No the real question is. Why does everybody hate a black confident fighter ?.......if a mexican is confident and brags they call it machismo and the mexican warrior spirit. i remember watchign football and seeing everybody praise shockey for his bragging and said it was just his love of the game. but boxing has always been that way i remember when they made Jermaine Taylor the poster boy cause he did everyhting by the book then he lost and they threw his ass away. you can say what you want when black fighters show confidence they hate it but when another race does it i notice its acceptable. but i don't blame the media i blame black fighters to for not sticking together and saying this like shane mosley for wearing a mexican flag on his shorts with azuca on there. you can say what you want but atleast floyd speaks his mind atleast bernard made comments and didn't just fall and place

Go watch any episode of the contender. Almost all the contestants are black and dont have big mouths or egos whatsoever.

It's not a race thing. It's just that there are language barriers with non-American fighters at times. Trust me a lot of these guys have plenty of ego.

And it all depends on the person and how you were raised. If you were raised to speak your mind you are going to go off and rub people the wrong way.

That's just how it is nothing to do with race.
