From what I've heard in general, Londoners I've talked to can't stand the Klitschkos. They always come out with the "They're just boring robots who've ruined the HW division" thing.

        Casino site fees.

They can pay a ton of money to host a fight. Ticket sales are only part of the money they make when there's a big fight taking place.

the british boxing public like the klitschkos - how the fuuck can you ruin a division by dominating it? we're just happy that for once it isnt americans dominating the HW division. and this isnt an anti american thread but it makes a nice change for the recognised HW kings to be a pair of well-mannered and educated white europeans

Look, I'm not speaking for myself here. I enjoy Wladimir's work and appreciate what a good ambassador for the sport he is. I'm just stating what I know to have heard from fellow Londoners that I've spoken to - and that is that they despise the Klitschkos and still idolise Mike Tyson. As for Haye, many have never even heard of him.

you can idolise tyson and still have respect for other fighters though surely? have you been doing questionnaires on the streets? probably not. im from liverpool, possibly the biggest boxing city in the UK and most people here like the klitschkos

vitali would give any HW in history a good fight. good chin, and a knockout punch. what more can you ask for, fair enough not particularly technical but tough as they come. i couldnt name a single HW in history who would definatley beat him

UK has Khan Froch Hatton Haye
USA – Bradley Alexander Mayweather Mosley Williams Pavlik Hopkins Dawson Dirrel Ward
The UK don’t have as much good fighters as the state, when they get a decent boxer they are all over his nuts

I just think its that the US has most of the better fighters and alot more top fighters so most fans are mixed on who they like.. The UK has only a handfull at the most of elite fighters so obviously they'll have more fans to back them because there arent other stars there for fans to get behind and support.

Well jeez, we get the point already. You obviously like the Klitschkos. That doesn't mean everyone in the UK does. Nor does everyone in the UK like Haye, either. No need to keep ****ing on about it.
