As expected, Palle now sues left and right. Only thing unexpected is that it took him so long.

This is the real test for Kessler's advisors, high-priced lawyers and Team Sauerland. If they fail to end the feud conclusively Kessler can lose millions as well as seeing his career stall even more.

He was a U17 European champion, but that garners no attention here whatsoever. Denmark hasn't had any amatuer boxers that were known to the general population since the mid 80'es. I'm a former fighter/current trainer here in Denmark, and have been a fight fan all my life, and I hadn't even heard of Kessler before he turned pro, and when he did I thought, like everyone else here, that he was just another overhyped young fighter who wouldn't make it at the world level.

In short, Kessler was nobody as an amateur as far as the public was concerned. In fact, he only started to gain popularity when he beat Siaca, which is a relatively short time ago. As much as I hate to, I have to agree with Palle, that he did a great job with Kessler's career (at least until the Calz fight), and he definitely didn't make any money on him un his first 30-35 fights, quite the contrary, he invested money in him.
That's the truth. As an AM Kessler was a virtual unknown and is a testament to Palle's great scouting ability.

True is also that no dane has made a real name for himself in the AM's since Mads Larsen, Brian Nielsen and to a lesser extent Jesper D. Jensen and Dennis Holbaek. Today the AM-scene is dead in the public eye and only Torben Keller is slightly known. That fact says a lot about the future for danish pro-boxing once Kessler retires.

However, I'm fairly certain Sauerland were confident of their legal position when they signed Kessler.
I bet that they in their contract made sure that the Palle-dispute was solely to be Kessler's problem. I cannot see them make a substantial pay-off to Palle. That pay-off will likely have to be made by Kessler himself.

How much do hitmen charge in Denmark?
Probably cheaper than what Palle wants.

If u see Kessler tell him there are loads in N.Ireland that lost their employers now we have peace. They'll do it on the cheap.......

Hell for 1/2M Euro I'd give it a go.

I doubt your services will be needed. Kessler is a nice guy as far as I know. Besides he knows plenty of thughs (spelling) since he's best friend is an ex-con.

Looks like Palle has a point, funny when you get a little stardom you think you dont have to honor written contracts. Too much dishonesty in boxing already.

He does have a point. IF he's right about the options that is. If Kessler and his team are right about the options being expired Palle is obviously wrong. Hence the upcoming left and right courtcases.

I have a feeling Kessler is masterminding this knowing Palle would sue so he could get out of the Ward fight.
