In truth Palle has done nothing but hold back Kessler in the past couple of years with his incompetency, unable to sign the fights that he needed to. Surely he invested in Kessler and helped make him a name in boxing but Kessler choosing to sign with another promoter is no different from Calzaghe/Hatton leaving Frank Warren, he was simply not doing his job anymore.

I'm sure Kessler has a good case against Palle, otherwise he wouldn't have done what he did.

He had a 3 fight contract but was negotiating no worthwhile fights? What is Palle doing shelving a big money fighter in Europe.

Well I can confirm that there was an ordinary press conference about the Kessler-Perdomo bout. At least Kessler wrote about it yesterday on his homepage.

I couldn't find any comments on the Palle controversy, though.
Just the usual Kessler comments, trying not to underestimate the upcoming bout: "this is the most important fight of my career", "he is a tough fighter, right stance, tall" etc etc.

He actually said that he has a special recipe for Perdomo: "I'll have to bite his ears off and cut off his legs."

He also said that Perdomo was a fighter he would have liked to avoid but that since he's the mandatory he'll have to face him. "He's not a guy you go up and just punch in the face."
