I go with Floyd by UD
Benitez is better than Floyd and that fight took place at 154. This is about 147.

I assume those that think Floyd would win think he is capable of doing to Duran what Sugar Ray did in their second fight.

-Duran was notorious for his bad health habits late in his career and ballooned to 203 he says after the first fight. Leonard himself said he knew this and did everything he could to get the fight done very soon after the first.
-The Duran that beat Leonard the first fight was as possessed and amazing as he could possibly be and would laugh at Floyd's attempts to run while crushing his ribs in.
-Floyd is not even close to what Sugar Ray Leonard was, especially at that time at welterweight. I am a Leonard hater and I admit the man was near unstoppable.
-Floyd is a small welterweight and would not have the athletic advantages Leonard did over Duran.

Seriously, Duran obliterates Floyd. There is nothing he does Hands of Stone has not seen others do much better.

As much as I like Floyd the truth is he hasn't fought Mosley (not his fault), Margo, Tszyu (nothis fault), Winky, Forrest, Cotto, or Clottey. Duran was greater and better than all of them. So I dont even know how Floyd matches up with Duran. For all I know Duran whould win and outwork Floyd

You mean as a pure boxer? Probably not but Duran can do way more things than Floyd inside that ring.

I don't think Floyd makes it in to the 10th round against a prime 147 Roberto Duran.

Is it really that hard to come to a conclusion? Duran is an all time great. Probably top 10 ever. Floyd would have no chance against the Hands of Stone. Duran KO's Floyd before the 10th round ends.

It is a 50/50 fight although Duran at 147 is later in his career so it is likely that Floyd would beat him at that point. Floyd is capable of making Duran look very bad in the ring and in a 12 round fight I think that Floyd could take a decision.

Duran could win also I think he has has a much better shot at winning at 135 I think that is a true 50/50 fight, at 147 I would favor Floyd just because where they were at in their careers.

Floyd's style would annoy the hell out of Duran.
