The fact is that Cotto is receiving more support on this title issue than Pacquiao is because in a man world you're words is part of who you are and how people see you. Cotto is sticking to the initiall agreement between both fighters while Pacman's team is changing the rules and with it a gentlemen's agreement. Agreement and negotiation on which the title was not involed. And notice I did say Pacquiao's team because IMO Pacman would had fought as initially agreed but his team is being influenced by Varcarcel because he wants to cash in.

The fact that a boxer (Cotto) is sticking to his gentlemen agreement and his word as a man, while the other is not, will receive more support and respect for his principles, and even if by doing so he is putting at risk the biggest payday of his life.

Stop pulling numbers out of your ass. Do not assume things and decide for your own self satisfaction that more people are agreeing with Cotto. The only people that have the same opinions are of course the Cotto nuthuggers with their non-stop whinning, moaning, and bitching of every details about the fight.

I wish this fight get cancelled and team Pacquiao start negotiating with SSM.

Catchweight fights have been for titles on a number of ocassions.

That being said, I prefer title bouts to be at the limit as they usually are.

He may lose based on the fight contract but shouldn't also have the WBO strip the title because he was limited by contract from the full welterweight limit. In other words, if he stands to lose the ww belt he needs to be alotted his ww limit of 147.
