Why doesn't Guillermo Jones need to defend his title?

This needs to be explained.

2 years and no title defence and it sucks because there are alot of good matchups for Guillermo Jones. But for one reason or another nothing is happening, I want to know why!

I think it's because Don King is rich and doesn't care anymore.

But the WBA are being disgraceful to not force a title defense after all this time.

Yeah couldn't they just mandate that he fight someone, anyone and if he doesn't for whatever reason they vacate the title having two other CWs scrap for it.

Maybe they could just change it to a "champion in recess" title. Problem with that is, he's not sick!

You may be bumping this thread for another year at this rate, its clear that Don King needs to die before Jones gets another fight.

Yes, probably.

I bump it every month or so because the situation seems increasingly ridiculous to me...

Especially since some fighters get stripped for not fighting their mandatories within a few months
