Kessler is one of the best selling blended whiskies, yet people hate on it.

        Direll likewise.
Abraham was really just a middleweight feasting on bums.
Taylor has been shot ever since the Pavlik defeat.
Froch is limited. We all knew that once he got in the ring with a good boxer he would lose.

        Classic NSB.
He has already proven enough to me to think he's a great fighter.
some people are always going to find a way to discredit a fighter.

Those who have followed Kesslers career and the SMW division know that he beat everyone that mattered at the time, and he did so in dominant fashion while unifying a couple of belts along the way.. hes only loss to Calzaghe who retired one of the p4p best...

So yeah he has done quite a bit.. To say he hasn't done anything is a huge understatement and any of those names would be great to have listed on your record, if Kessler wins this thing like i think he will it will shut up a lot of the doubters but theres still going to be those few people who will have a reason to hate on them no matter what, all the great fighters still get hated on no matter how great they were or what they have accomplished..

Kessler has the strongest resume in the tournament outside of Taylor

Thus far his biggest highlight may be losing to Calzaghe.
I asked this question loooooong before you did on this forum, buddy. And I never got an answer. I've actually been waiting about a year and a half now.

I have no problem with Kessler being rated the best super middleweight, but my question pertained to why people thought he was one of the top 10-15 fighters in the world about a year ago. He's definitely not resume-wise. In no particular order, here's a short list of fighters way ahead of him.

                  1. Mayweather
                  2. Pacquiao
                  3. Marquez
                  4. Hopkins
                  5. Williams
                  6. Vazquez
                  7. Mosley
                  8. Cotto
                  9. Rafael Marquez
                  10. Abraham
                  11. Dawson
                  12. Chris John
                  13. Vitali
                  14. Wladimir
                  15. Haye
                  16. Pavlik
                  17. Hatton
                  18. Clottey

I mean those guys are far and away ahead of him, then there's probably a handful of 5-10 more who have accomplished more, thus deserving to be ahead. Guys like Juan Diaz, for example.

I do not understand the love affair people have with Kessler. He's pretty technically sound, good power, but wow FIGHT SOMEBODY. This tournament will define his entire career because right now he's no different than a Vitali Klitschko in that his best win is a loss. Everyone is always going to remember Vitali for losing to Lewis rather than anyone he beat. The only difference is Vitali is a way better fighter than Kessler.

I'd throw Tim Bradley and Nate Campbell ahead of Kessler as well in that group of 5-10 I mentioned.

Yeah I was about to say

BTW, how come you have Abraham so high, considering your opinions on Kessler?
