He had beaten everyone put infront of him save for one man. What are the fights that you want him to have made? he fought alot of top ten smw guys.

Funny to me why they don't want to break down Bute's, Ward's etc resume down.

i think ill have to wait till the tourny.
As I have already said, he hasn't done much lately, I've been critical of his level of opposition post-Calzaghe as well.

And Mundine is actually a pretty good fighter, I think he'd be able to give the top guys at 160 and 168 a run for their money even though he seems to be slipping a little bit now, you shouldn't judge a fighter by 1 loss early in their careers. Like David "Stopped By Carl Thompson" Haye.

Who else has the type of resume Kessler has at 168? He's beaten legit top 10 guys, he's proven his skills.

I honestly think that it's because bringing down Kessler's resumé brings down Calzaghe's. He's a prime target for flamers.

And besides Bute and the rest have resumées that couldn't carry Kessler's jockstrap.

Bute get props for surviving against Andrade.. Kessler gets nothing for schooling the guy. Taylor fights a shot lacy people say nothing but Kessler fighting top 10 SMW and he's a euro-bum & overrated. I don't get this mentality.

I disagree with that asssessment. Calzaghe started dominating after 7 or 8. Calzaghe swept the late rounds of the fight.
Before that it was a fairly close fight.

I thought Kessler was trying to load up too much and not throwing enough late in the fight but it was nothing like the whooping Kessler put on Andrade.
Now, that fight wasn't even close.

Judges had it 116-112 x 2 so most people gave Kessler 3 or 4 rounds of the 12.

If Kessler wins it will be because:

Ward was a neo-pro. Basically an amateur.
                      Direll likewise.
Abraham was really just a middleweight feasting on bums.
Taylor has been shot ever since the Pavlik defeat.
Froch is limited. We all knew that once he got in the ring with a good boxer he would lose.

                      Classic NSB.
Post of the thread. Some people will just never give Kessler any credit, regardless of whether he deserves any now.
