    What Has Mikkel Kessler Done?

Ive been wanting an answer to this question for some time now. What has he done or who has he beat for some to rate him so highly. In certain instances if the quality wins arnt there but you can see a guy's talent I understand that and if thats why many rate him so high, based on the talents they see in the ring then thats fine, but what are your individual reasons for rating him so high?

Thus far his biggest highlight may be losing to Calzaghe.

He hasn't done much lately but prior to Calzaghe he beat a few top 10 ranked super middleweights and partially unified the division. His skills are also among the best in the sport.

He has defeated a string of champions and done so in convincing fashion.

            What nobodies?

Andrade was and is ranked in the top 10, Kessler dominated him to a UD, the other top guy in the division Lucian Bute barely escaped with his belt, Mundine was ranked in the top 10 at 168 and is now ranked top 10 at middleweight, Kessler won that one one sidedly, Beyer was ranked in the top 10, Kessler destroyed him in 3.

The only thing he hasn't shown skillwise up to this point is adaptability, but then again the only fight where that has shown up was against Calzaghe (which I scored 4 rounds for Kessler, which was the same amount of rounds I gave Hopkins), no one has really been able to adapt and be really successful with Calzaghe.

I've lost count how many times this thread has been made.

Just wait till the tournament to see what he does.

You talk out of your ass. Kessler has beaten Manny Siaca, Anthony Mundine, Markus Beyer. Those 3 alone are noteworthy because they belong to the top 10 SM today. Mundine is currently fighting as a middleweight, but he has held the WBA SM title, if I'm not mistaken. Manny Siaca beat Mundine by SD and Beyer beat Danny Green, former WBA LHW champ. Is that enough for you? If not, then I'll mention Librado Andrade, Eric Lucas, Craig Cummings and Julio Cesar Green.

I've seen Kessler winded in quite a few fights, that doesnt bode well fighting against someone who moves as much as Ward. I dont think Kessler likes to get roughed up either from what Ive seen, hope he studies some tapes of Ward, I dont see him winning unless he knocks Ward out. I really think more than anything Kessler will get exposed in this tournament, not just by Ward and will lose much of the stock he has.
