the name of the devision is called welterweight. Which has a limit. The beginning of ww is one number after the limit of jr. Welterweight. Anything in between is a legit welterweight title fight period. Manny's legacy is at stake and i don't blame him or cotto for their stance.

Cotto said if Pac wants the title it has to be at 147, and if the WBO wants he more tan gladly will vacat teh title.

By the way, WBO wont like that, because they will lose thee 400K that Cotto is supose to pay for this title fight.

Negatiive they said he have to paid a pecentage like 3% I think ot was up to 400K, manny pays only 50K because he is teh challaneger!!

He hasn't changed his mind, he just don't think Pac should have the chance of winning a welterweight belt when the fight is not at the welterweight limit. If he don't play by WW rules why should he have the chance to win a WW belt?

WBO can make manny the ww champion if he wins.......without the need for cotto to put the belt on the line.
valcarel said that manny just make a letter request to that effect and pay the sanction fee, his share, of $150K.
cotto will be stripped of his title if he refuses to agree to pay the fee before the fyt.

it is wbo's sole discretion to decide on the title, not cotto!!

Ive booked mark this tread love it guys. Its pretty clear that Cotto wants things done right. Freddy Cucaracha is trying to make Manny a paper champion by draining Cotto down and have the slight possibility to catch him weak and get a belt off of it. Now if the PAC man camp cant just deal with the 2 lb gain then they should not play with fire at 147, let the Pacman just fight for another 140 title, end of story.
