Kelly Pavlik vs. Paul Williams: Progress Being Made

Paul Williams deserves to eat in this fight, but how much more does Pavlik have to cave in on the demands for this fight to happen? Today was already a step toward Paul's satisfaction on the demands. You can say what you want, but it looks like Pavlik and Arum want this fight more than Goosen and Williams want it.

this is a good match. its quiet a long time since i've seen pavlik fighting. williams should stay competitive fighting at the middleweigt division where his size really fits in.

I can't believe how fast Paul went from freak prospect to haveing a GREAT shot at being the undisputed Middleweight Champion of the world.

There is no one at 160 that will beat him.

I'm telling you. They need to each get a percentage of everything
even if it is not down the middle because like I said on another thread
they both need each other at this point BUT Paul Williams has a more
promising position with HBO AND could just land a fight with Sergei,
beat him and become champion at 154 and really build his stats up.
Bob Arum needs to budge a little and stop trying to be unrealistic.
If I represented Williams I wouldn't stand for him not getting a piece
of the gate OR sponsorship? That a few MILLION right there. I think
HBO is going to put the pressure on both sides but mostly on Arum to
make this happen. The deal don't have to be 50/50, it could be 55/45.
Apparently HBO is not interested in Pavlik as much as Williams so that's
a big edge in favor of Goosen.

should be a good fight knowing that they have good workrates. i wanna say pwill by UD but pavlik has that power. a couple solid shots and pwill could be head for a tko. i say it's a 60-40 fight in favor of pwill.
