I know all that complaining about money means nothing in the end,I'm sure the Punisher knows if he takes this fight and wins, which he will,he'll be opening the doors to bigger and better fights!!The Punisher will be one of his generations greatest fighters!!The Punisher is a much better fighter than he was a couple years ago,Pavlik isnt beating him!!

nah.....don't get me wrong, pavlik can ****, but JT had him almost out, and JT isn't a big puncher himself. we've never seen williams hurt before, so he may have the chin to whithstand w/e pavlik delivers....the question is, will pavlik be able to stand there against a guy who throws over 100 punches a round, doesn't tire often, and has underrated power?

Hilarious. I remember saying Williams would beat Pavlik over a year ago and everybody on here gave me red k and dogged me. Now he seems to be the favorite around here.

Regardless, Paul will embarrass Pavlik. I thought Arum was done with the Paul Williams business?? I guess he doesn't care if Pavlik gets his clock cleaned before moving up to 168.

Paul will beat Pavlik FAR worse than Hopkins did. Paul will stop him. Winky Wright>Pavlik.

I think Paul Williams can beat Kelly Pavlik. All Paul would have to do
is take that punch away and after, Kelly is easy pickings. Pavlik has
problems with foot movement and speed. If you don't stand in front
of him flat footed then you can throw him off and not comparing but
that's what BHOP did. Paul has a strong chin, he's been hit flush by
solid shots to the head and body, keeps fighting, controlling the tempo.
The fight with Antonio Margarito showed how durable he is when being
              hit by heavy power shots.

People keep saying Williams is no Hopkins. It works both ways. Hopkins is FAR more technical and is a legend. But he also does not have the volume, angles to punch from due to length or speed of Williams. So it works both ways. Hopkins has far better defense and footwork, but Paul has underrated footwork. It is far from bad. He will destroy Pavlik.

yea. had hopkins had the punch output of williams, he would've KO'ed pavlik....

i find it interesting that everyone questions williams's chin, when pavlik has been hurt by both of the best fighters he has fought, and neither hopkins nor taylor are fighters known for their power.

Paul Williams and Bernard Hopkins are two totally different fighters
that can't be compared but both can be dominate at what they do.
Paul Williams has all the tools to beat Pavlik. When/If the two meet,
I'm picking Paul to win because Pavlik is just too slow to get off and
he waits a lot for opportunities to land his big shots and Paul ain't
giving up opportunities AND I think Paul has enough power to KO
Pavlik or at least stun if not badly stagger him.

i think pwills style is just perfect for pavlik... he will be there for pavlik to hit, of course pavlik will be there to be hit too, but i think pavlik is the bigger puncher... i'm picking pavlik, but its gonna be a great fight...
