Kelly Pavlik vs. Paul Williams: Progress Being Made

I think it'll go right down to the wire...you have the power punher who puts tremendous pressure and stalks his opponents...but who is very one deminsional if you create angels and stop his "1-2" offense......then you have a volume puncher who outhustles his opponents with his work rate and over whelms you....but has bad foot work and does not have much pop in his punches......so I think we have a pretty interesting match up with styles that can make a great fight.....just my opinon anyways
i don't agree with everything you said but nonetheless green k

promising position with HBO AND could just land a fight with Sergei,
beat him and become champion at 154 and really build his stats up.
Bob Arum needs to budge a little and stop trying to be unrealistic.
If I represented Williams I wouldn't stand for him not getting a piece
of the gate OR sponsorship? That a few MILLION right there. I think
HBO is going to put the pressure on both sides but mostly on Arum to
make this happen. The deal don't have to be 50/50, it could be 55/45.
Apparently HBO is not interested in Pavlik as much as Williams so that's
a big edge in favor of Goosen.
And the part of the story where I've mentioned that Williams doesn't need Pavlik as much as Pavlik needs him is a reality. I've said that all along because of my frustration with Pavlik for not fighting Abraham. But I don't know man, I'm starting to think that fight not coming off wasn't really Pavlik's or Abraham's fault. HBO just never jumped on the fight for one reason or another. Probably because of Abraham's low profile in the US being the reason. The reason why I think Arum is going to pass on this offer with Williams is because he knows he can still milk Pavlik on a Top Rank PPV. This fight won't happen. If this fight happens because PW is willing to take less money to make it happen, then he deserves massive respect.

He should accept the fight already. And he ofcourse will get less money than Pavlik if you think he deserves more money than Pavlik you are delusional.
1.55 mill is more than enough considering the budget.
Willams can draw flies to ****. His fight with Winky had lss than 2K people and half of those went to see Arreola!!!!!!!!!!!
