Both team Pavlik and team Williams to sit down and realise that unless either of them fight Sturm then they need each other. Forget drawing power etc, they need to realise they have very few viable alternatives, especially Pavlik.

Yes and I know Sturm will fight anyone. He has been a little negative about fighting in the US since getting ripped off against DeLaHoya back then, but I believe with a good offer he will fight in America again.

I think Larry Merchant said it best when he said............to listen to Winky Wright you would think he beat Hearns/Hagler and Leonard on the same night.

It doesn't matter who the bigger draw is, it's not a ppv fight.

He's a huge reason why HBO put that money up, they were putting half of that up for him to face Sturm.

Stop acting like HBO pays for ticket sales cuz if they were Adamek-Johnson would have been on.

Paul is taking a huge risk, he deserves to get payed. Not 50-50 though.

winky definently stands out as having a big ego at the negotiating table

but recently so does greene. this guy is fighting in a loaded division and has been linked with lacy, bika, miranda (again), froch and jean pascal(when he was a SMW). yet nearly every time he vastly overestimated his own worth and because of that the fights didn't get made.

hopkins has a loyal but small fan base and is a nothing short of a pr!ck when it comes to negotiating, he ducked joe in 2002 by doubling his demands overnight, made the fight with rjj impossible to make and recently with adamek he wanted the majority of the gate despite the fact that adamek brings in most at the gate!!
