Forreal, man. I don't even understand how they defend it. "Aww man, he deserved to win for trying to run out the clock during a boxing match! Not in the 12th but for about 3-4 straight rounds." I mean...wtf?Comment

Lederman disagreeing with me is good since he has scored a fight not being drunk for years.
DLH won the fight clearly to me.Comment

No way.
Oscar was way ahead and was completly robbed. No way can a logical person score that fight for Tito.
He didn't win it.
And in cause you didnt know, boxing commentators often say fights are closer than they are to inspirse excitement and tension for viewers.Comment

But still, most people are in agreement that he won more rounds than Tito at the end of the day, so...Comment

Agreed. It's ludicrous to think someone goes..."I'm boxing so easy, guess what? Now I'ma run!" Any boxer who is supposedly boxing so well will either continue to do that or (hey!) even step it up. But De La Hoya's stick and move strategy worked up until his legs turned to lead and Tito starting closing the distance. It was either run or get continually tagged by one of the hardest-hitting welters ever. It's amazing that people who watch boxing haven't quite figured out why there's never been another instance of a fighter who was supposedly dominating doing something like that
especially someone with an extensive amateur background and an olympic pedigree...to just stop throwing and dance around like an idiot and give the fight away, was just foolishComment

I've watched this fight so many times, and I've never once scored it for Quartey.
Even if you had it closer than I did, the KD in the 12th should be enough to justify Oscar getting the nodComment
