so 145 might actually be good for him....once that fade kicks in, he's gonna need to be light on his feet

Who knows? But I doubt it since he made 146 for Clottey and didn't looked drained. He should be fine imo.

Weight drained by 1 lb. He weighed in as 146 for the Clotty fight.

Because 5 pounds is already alot for pacquaio to move up

beating cotto at his weight, 147 >> beating cotto at 145

roach, b-hop, vegas odds + many others predicting that pac will have no problem with cotto at 145. so why not make it at 147? will 2 pounds make that much difference?

145: Not an official weight limit. cotto will be fine. pac will beat him.

147: The universally recognized weight limit of Cotto's division. cotto will be fine. pac will beat him.

sooo.....why is this fight at 145 again?

That's the thing, I really doubt it will change the outcome of the fight, pretty ****** decision for Pac's team, I think.
Pacquiao only comes to fight at 148, Cotto blows up to 160+ It's more unfair to Pacquiao than Cotto.

It will have no effect. A pound from the Clottey fight will make little difference.

It will affect his ability to rehydrate to 155+ as he usually does. Thats one of the main points of catch weighting.
