I for one think that Paul Williams has a very good chance
at beating Kelly Pavlik. Pavlik is a one dimensional fighter
and that's why Bernhard Hopkins was able to put Pavlik
on front street. Not saying that Paul is a Bhop but Williams
has a lil pop, solid beard, excellent work rate and creates
crazy angles and has a crazy reach. IF Williams don't give
Pavlik any opportunities to land a clean shot on him then
Williams can out work Pavlik. BHOP never let Pavlik get in
his rhythm and that's the key to beat him.

Well Ill agree its not the biggest win ever in the history of.... boxing but a pretty damn good one regardless of the circumstances. I totally spaced that William beat Margarito too....people probably arent counting those wins as signature wins because he didnt knock the guys out. But those are pretty legit wins in my book.

I do know what you mean though....

It should be 70/30 on favour of the champ. Period.

Agreed, I didnt think this made much sense either, you hit it spot on.

If he didn't need another signature name then he wouldn't be begging for split gates right now. But to be more specific, he needs a signature fight that fans will watch again and again. Cause that way he might actually get fans. He needs what for Pacquiao was Pac/Barrera or for Jermaine Taylor was Taylor/B-Hop or for Ricky Hatton was Hatton/Tsyzu. You get it? It's signature fights that really get the money and accolades flowing.
