It was all over TV because Michael Jackson died of Propofol abuse.

Are you claiming Ali is a drug abuser? Be careful what you are saying!

henry cooper dropped him, but ali managed to get back and destroy him.

your a fucking dumb ass noob.
Ali beat him once. Joe WON TWICE, IMO.

Joe wanted to come out for the final round in The Thrilla, Ali called it quits. Had his corner let him out it would have been Joe who won. Do't downplay Smokin' Joe, he was a champion and amazing fighter in his own right with not much to show for.

I agree completely. MJ was just an entertainer, Ali was a political figure as well. He is much bigger than MJ in every way.

NYC was crazy after MJ died, people were busting out his tracks like no other. Ali will go but he will fade away thats wha makes it different. The whole child ******ationg thing was forgotten by essentially all, they were celebrating his legacy and his music.

I AM NOT DOWNPLAYING ALI, I'm just showing the difference.

Did that happen? No. One fighter quit, the other didn't. How can you say the one who quit won? Are you not familiar with the rules?

Lol. Who quit? Joe quit? Joe wanted to finish the fight with Ali. His CORNER refused to let him out. He himself was ready to go on. Ali told his corner "cut em off" and refused to come out. Joe's corner told the ref to stop the fight.

"Seeing the grisly results of round 14, Eddie Futch decided to stop the fight between rounds rather than risk a similar or worse fate for Frazier in the 15th. Frazier protested stopping the fight, shouting "I want him boss," and trying to get Futch to change his mind. Futch simply replied, "It's all over. No one will forget what you did here today", and signaled to the referee to end the bout. However, while this was going on, in Ali's corner Ali was pleading with Angelo Dundee to stop the fight and asking him to "cut 'em off" (referring to his gloves). Dundee refused, despite Ali saying he will refuse to come out of his corner for the 15th. Ali was therefore declared the victor and shortly afterwards fainted on the canvas. He claimed that this was the closest to dying he had ever been,[4] and also stated, "Joe Frazier, I'll tell the world right now, brings out the best in me. I'm gonna tell ya, that's one helluva man, and God bless him." In a brief post-fight interview with one of the commentators, Ali announced, "He is the greatest fighter of all times, next to me." "

We all know the story fool. Corner or fighter, who cares, Frazier's CAMP or whatever you wanna call it where the ones who stopped it. That means an automatic L.

lol...bet you wouldn't say that if the roles in the fight were reversed. Technically its Joe's loss. Technically. Remove the camp's ability to let fighters fight, Joe would've gotten up, Ali would've bowed out. I love Ali, but don't make excuses for why he quit. Joe didn't have choice. Ali would've bowed out w/ or w/o his corner.

LOL didn't even see the fool part not that it matters coming from you .
