        I agree with this 100%.

Sadly, Parkison's has made Ali a much more well liked person. Ali was a brash individual before the disease struck him. People see him now and can't help bout feel sorry for him. He is arguably the GOAT, but the Parkinson's is how most people know him, or of him.

I think Ali's will be just as big, if not bigger (if you take out all the how did MJ die questioning). All week of that you'll see documentaries about Ali as a civil rights activist, ESPN will play Ali fights all week long. ***** will make a big deal out of it if he's still in office by then because Ali is such an inspiration to him.

I think he will be remembered more for a man that stood for what he thought was right, and one of the greatest personalities ever.

Ali was brash when it came to boxing and humble about everything else. I gotta disagree with you on this. Ali has long been adored by world leaders as well as common folk. He is one of the few people in history who is known just about EVERYWHERE. Im talking from Tibet to Timbuktu, to countries in Africa and the middle east we've never heard of. This has been true since the early and mid 70's.

Thanks man, set my DVR .

I think Ali's death won't be as big because it won't be shocking the way MJ's was. Still a big event nonetheless but not equivalent to "Celebrity Pop Icon Michael Jackson Dies this afternoon in a drug related case", Ali's will be "Iconic African-American Boxer Ali passes away after a long fought battle with Parkinson's,"and I think MJ might've had a larger fanbase.
