He said himself that he was tired and did not throw a lot in the last three rounds, or what we call the championship rounds. Well Clottey lost at least 1 of the last 3 rounds clearly and many would say Cotto won all 3 of those rounds.

Clottey has no one to blame but himself.
Finally a logical response to this inquiry in dispute. I agree 100% of what you just stated, and am still curious to how this kid gave Clottey 9 rounds and Cotto a very generous 3 while at the same time claiming to be “objective.”

    Peace.

i gave cotto round 1 i scored it a 10-8 for him, i gave cotto round 6 and i gave him round 12..he could of arguably gotten the 11nth round for the two left hooks he landed at the end, but i gave it to clottey cause he landed more punches and controlled the pace the majority of the round

its simple! clottey outboxed cotto almost the entire fight, and cotto arguably been given the 11nth round for the two left hooks he landed at the end but i gave it to clottey because he controlled the pace and landed more punches the majority of the round

So being practical, you’re stating ring generalship should give Clottey the decision is that right? Mind you, though Cotto backpedaled in the later rounds he was still landing punches that Clottey did not respond to or either did not follow-up on. Controlling the tempo of a fight in the mid rounds does not constitute a clear cut victory for Clottey in the championship rounds especially when those mid rounds could have gone either way. As a previous poster stated Clottey has himself to blame for not taking advantage of a golden opportunity to greatness. We all here could put the spin on our perceptions to this fight as much as we want it does not erase Clottey’s lack of grit to finish what he started in the first place.

          Peace.

you don't know how to score

                  You scorecards are wrong.
It cant be 116-110 if you saw 9-3 for CLOTTEY and you gave
                  first round 10-8 to COTTO.

PLS EXPLAIN ME HOW YOU COME UP WITH 116-110 scorecard?

Round 4 was clearly a Cotto round. I don't know how you scored that one for Clottey. Round 10,11,12 were all Cotto rounds because of his movement and Clottey pretty much chasing him around doing nothing.
