That scoring is terrible, Clottey did not win 9 rounds.

I could agree with someone thinking Clottey won but it was a close fight that could of gone either way.

If You gave the fight 9-3 in rounds to clottey wich is idiculius, tehn teh score is 116-111.

Anyways, your score is garbage, and everybody but you knows it
i corrected myself earlier in the thread i ment to say 116-111, my apologies. but like the other guy said in this thread clottey did everything better than cotto in most of the rounds, that is why people thought it was close because cotto DID have alot of good points but in MOST of the rounds clottey always had better points

Your scorecard is a a flat out disgrace. You should stop watching boxing and jump over to the gay MMA.

Sorry kid, but someone who states he’s objective to fights and then scores a fight 116-111 for his favorite fighter in a fight that was closer than a thong to an ass cheek is hardly objective. I really don’t know what fight you were watching to bring you to that conclusion, worst case scenario could have been a point win for EITHER fighter or a draw at that. Clottey did not take advantage of the VARIOUS opportunities to capitalize on a win over Cotto but instead decided to be laxed in championship rounds when he should have been actively aggressive in. Contrast that to Cotto at least acting the part and hence forth getting the nod.

            Peace.

              Lesson learned for Clottey.

              That's if he learned anything.

Mainly, that you don't leave a fight in the judges' hands, in a pro-Cotto crowd without knocking the champ or crowd favorite down or out.

Clottey was just whining and hoping the ref would take points off of Cotto.

              Can't win fights like that.

Clottey had 3 big rounds 7-8- and 9 and then he stoped punhing, Why, the 2 big left hooks that had him turning to the other side of the ring at the of round 10.

It was a competitive fight a close one, but Cotto won th2 fight. Cotto threw more and trhough out the fight, showed better ring smarts, ring general ships, and more heart than Clottey.

Again the only swing round was the 10, if you gave it to Clottey is 114-113 Cotto, if you gave it to Cotto is 115-112 Cotto, simple as that.

sorry the fight was not as close as people make it out to be. and i didnt know running was "acting" the part. i dont care if he was whining or not he still CLEARLY won the fight, telling me "you dont know what your talking about the fight was close" doesnt prove me wrong...give me your round by round and explain why you gave it to that certain fighter
