i did see the reply and you didnt give me a round by round or a legitimate reason as to why i am wrong, you just pointed out things that should have nothing to do with scoring fights

That's the beauty of watching it live, you're not biased by what the HBO cheerleaders have to say, which is a load of crap most of the time, and you can just watch the fight. I had an excellent view of the ring and all the action and I have to say that I scored it for Cotto by 1 point. The score of 116-111 for Cotto was ridiculous and the judge must of been drinking. If it hadn't been for the headbutt, we wouldn't be debating this because Cotto would of won more easily and I think he could of got the stoppage. And while we're on it, if Cotto could take everything Clottey threw at him and go the distance, I can't see Pacman stopping or hurting Cotto. If anything I see Cotto stopping Pacman before 7 rounds.

Nah, Cotto won the fight he won the beginning rounds and the last couple of rounds. At most the fight could've been 6 rounds even, but cotto gets another point first the first round for putting Clottey in the canvas. Cotto sometimes gives too much in one round when he should be saving some of that energy. As long as you're winning the round you can stop punching and save that energy for the next one. Cotto sometime gives too much than ends up tired. The cut could affected his vision, but not his condition.

before anyone says "o well clottey was whining about this and that" blah blah blah...that has no effect on the scoring what so ever. so dont use that as an excuse as to why clottey lost

Cotto won! I don't need to back anything up. The fight was close in my scorecard and It could have gone either way. Clottey could have won but sure as hell would have not been 9 rounds to 3.

Clottey gave up the championship rounds. You cannot do that when you are fighting the champ. I thought it was a draw but cotto won because of the kd. 116-111 was so wrong for both of them

So, in that case let’s be formal to why you decided Clottey deserves the nod by such a WIDE margin (9 rounds to 3 as you stated) why Cotto deserved a very generous 3 rounds by your account. I’m not dis*****g the fight being close I’m trying to understand what you basing Clottey victory from when in fact later rounds were the deciding factor in which Clottey punch output was greatly reduced costing him the nod.

                  Peace.

Scoring it for Clottey isn't wrong, half of scoring is opinion and what you like. However, if you can't see that Clottey had a chance to definitively win and he blew it, I can't help you. He said himself that he was tired and did not throw a lot in the last three rounds, or what we call the championship rounds. Well Clottey lost at least 1 of the last 3 rounds clearly and many would say Cotto won all 3 of those rounds.

Clottey has no one to blame but himself.
