But risk/reward and the money would probably not.

At this moment I don't think Tarver will get any of the top guys that brings him the money he wants so he can't be picky. In order for Tarver to get those fights he needs to stay busy. If Cloud beats Woods and looks good doing it people will hype up Cloud to possible be the next big thing, so yes a win against Cloud would be a good win and a big step forward to land another big fight.

      Maybe.

I don't see him fighting Cloud.

Tarver thinks too much of himslef to do it IMO.

You could be right. Tarver has a HUGE ego and can act like a primadonna, so only time will tell what his next move will be.

He may take a rematch with Muriqi or Woods. Or maybe try to go for Pascal's title.

Pascal already has his next 2 fights lined up so that is out of the question.

Fighting Muriqi again would be useless and I'm sure Cloud will retire Woods.

Maybe Diaconu then. That would land him in the line for a title shot. Diaconu held the WBC title as you know and altho Pascal beat him he is still considered a dangerous opponent.

Diaconu is using the rematch clause vs Pascal.

He will fight a easier fight in october and early next year rematch with Pascal.

Options aren't looking good for Tarver.
