Thats another misconception about Tarver that pisses me off. He doesn't have very good power, he certainly wouldn't have good power at cruiser.

Tarver was actually in excellent athletic condition against Dawson , dismissing the fact that the fight was awful boring and I almost slept thru it but he didn't look like 40, if I didn't know his age I would think he was around 28-29.

Combination of Roy's chin being affected by dehydration and a perfect placed punch.

Tarver is in excellent shape at 40 with minimal wear and tear

He doesn't have good punching technique to generate power, although when he loads up he can hurt guys.

Hes tall lean and can easily beat most of the LHW's because of his chin and elusiveness.
