Not fighting somone and ducking are two completly different things. Ducking implies you're scared, you're not argueing with facts when you say Holmes ducked somone you're assuming he was scared. We could argue semantics here but my interpretation of ducking is not fighting somone because you're scared of them. He fought Oliver McCall when he was 45. He fought Holyfield when he was 42. Fought AND beat a young Ray Mecer when he was 41 (same year he took Holyfield 12 rounds). Beat Witherspoon, beat Cooney, beat Berbick, beat Mike Weaver, beat Earnie Shavers, beat Ken Norton.
He might not of beat every top contender but that hardly warrants an accusation of ducking considering he fought much harder opposition than them contenders when he was 40+. Your accusation of ducking is unfounded, it's not a fact.
