Cotto not so confident of beating Pac?

If the scenario you describe turns out to be true and cotto is stripped because the did not wish to put the belt on the line (whether it be for not wanting to pay fees etc) I would be very disappointed. I then can see how you reach the conclusion that he is not confident in beating manny. Do you think the belt will be on the line or is cotto going to get stripped?... By the way, I guess I should read the article hehe brb...
By they way, I do think It would be fair for them to split the cost since arum wants the best fight and manny wants the belt. I don't understand why it has to be all on cotto.??Last edited by Aracibo04; 07-23-2009, 08:10 AM.Comment

He simply see KO for Pacquiao but a good point made about Cotto being douthed just look at Ali/Liston etc but ive no prob with the idea of Cotto maybe pulling this out Clottey was a big welter it was always going to be & Cotto called on everything but speed kills Pacquiao has thatIf the scenario you describe turns out to be true and cotto is stripped because the did not wish to put the belt on the line (whether it be for not wanting to pay fees etc) I would be very disappointed. we will all be very disapponted and yes, if he doesnt defend, he will be stripped anyway so why not pay the fees cause it will benefit him anyway if he beats pac. and pac is ranked #1 by the wbo now so it should be a mandatory defense in the first place.. search some puerto rican articles bro, animalistic posted it here somewhere..Originally posted by Aracibo04If the scenario you describe turns out to be true and cotto is stripped because the did not wish to put the belt on the line (whether it be for not wanting to pay fees etc) I would be very disappointed. and about your question why wont they split paying the fees, first, uncle bob is greedy whore and we cant argue with that. second, miguel is the champ so he is the one responsible paying the fees and not his promoter and opponent

hahaha that **** cracked me up... I am confident it will...Cotto see the big picture thats why he agreed to the split as it is. It's usually the champ getting the bigger purse right? But since manny is the 1 p4p thats why the purse was split that way.Comment

bro, cotto is getting $15m in a 65/35 split and thats a very big payday. floyd might even commit a suicide if he finds out that cotto is getting this much
