When this fight was first mentioned Cotto had said pacs last few fights were not impressive, that says alot from cotto being thats as close to talking **** it gets for him and i believe one of the main reasons he resigned with top rank was for this fight. If anyone seems theyre not so confident to me would be roach i dont think he ever wanted this fight to happend and by the way he says pac is going to KO out everyone he fights so yea..

Cotto shouldn't have to put his belts up unless someone comes to his weight of 147 and beats him there. If he is forced to drop weight in order to make a fight, Titles should not even come into play since he should not loose his 147lb belts in a fight being fought at 145lbs. Makes no sense.

If he were aloud to weigh in at 147, then I say sure put the belts up.

145 is not a weight class. Ive never heard and announcer say and from the 141-147 lb class....

You can't just go make up a weight class. And why would it be from 141-147. Why not 144-147-150.

There are weight classes for a reason and even though they are close to 147, its not 147. We have seen fights canceled for half pound differences from what the limit is supposed to be.

Now we are making fights strictly for money reasons at CATCH weights. Historically fights at CATCH weights have no belt involved.

I see where your coming from, but I simply don't agree with moving weight limits around and attaching the a welter weight belt to any weight that is not 147.

I'd also bet its never been done before so why break the mold now and go against what boxing has been.
