They will catch weight according to what they have decided.

So if a WW max weight is 147. and a fighter comes at 141-146 in weight-in and

he didnt get that max weight at WW i dont know what are they. lol.

Its been decided at 145 catch weight. and its a welter weight fight.

and the belt is on the line.
no the belt is not officially* on the line. thats why this thread is 39 pages long.

      seriously?

we can't do anything. we can make countless threads that last more than 40 pages each.

all we can do is come here give our thought out unbiased opinion and debate about it.

sure we all can't agree on something, but one thing is for sure...

you're all lucky to even have a fight like this.

so in the end...that belt means absolutely nothing! its a paper belt given to cotto by a paper organization.

i'd guess that the only people really stressing about this is the people who want to see pac w/ a 7th title on his resume. me? i could careless. the loss/win will look the same for cotto.

You said it yourself the limit of WW is 147 so if the champion is not allowed to weigh in at that, then why should the belt be on the line?

cotto signing the contract completely negates everything you've said and anyone else who follows that logic

so if 147 is max on WW what is the minimum? 141-146.

Cotto can come at 146 at weight-in. he can make 145 easy.

he can defend it to a smaller fighter max weight on the ring is 147-148

on a WW fight. and he can outweight pacman by alot, so he is the bigger man.

160 vs 148. catch weight 145 it is. even wbo may consider it.

Yea Idk if manny is really enforcing this but if he is he should STFU and stop being rediculous. If he wants the title fight at 147 not 145. If Pacquiao beats cotto at 145 and gets a 7th record breaking title that is a bunch of bull ****. I hope Joshua Clottey ***** slaps PAcman if that happens. ( this is all considering if PAcman is really saying this if not... Well my bad)

the difference is Cotto could come under 147 pounds of free will yet he IS NOT allowed to come in over the 145 pound limit for this fight basically he is allowed to be lighter but not allowed to be bigger. Is that ok with you? I mean is that how you want Pac to win his 7th title (if he does)
