No rules was changed. Pac team is just asking Cotto to come in at 145 to make the fight fair. This is common sense people.

      147 limit.

      Keyword limit*********************************

By it saying "limit" what does that tell you?

That theres actually a numerical scale from which what is the minimum and maximum.

What else does logic tell us.

That maybe just maybe....If it's well withing the limit that......YES YOU'RE RIGHT! ITS STILL A WELTERWEIGHT FIGHT.

Don't try to get technical about it not being 147 limit.

Because TECHNICALLY it's still a WELTERWEIGHT FIGHT.

If you weigh 250 pounds and I weigh 150 pounds, and I have 3 million dollars to give you to fight me at 190......would you do it or not?

To make it fair you oblivious COW!

@ 145 Cotto still has the weight advantage. FFS the guy weighed in at 146 at his last fight.

@145 he'll still be able to weight nearly 160 come fight night.

So "why pac wants cotto to weigh 2 to 4 lbs less?" Read the beginning again.

                      WW Rules: 141 to 147

                      Pac rules 0 to 145

eveb though is a slight change in the rules it's still a change
But Cotto agreed to fight at 145. Miguel said it himself that he will fight Pac at 145. Cotto was not force to fight at 145. So when Miguel said it and agreed to it, he also decided it.
