It has been tried and tested by other great fighters and they have failed, one of their biggest failures is they have high expectations of their pupils and they get frustrated if they don't see the greatness they have in them selves. Anyone can teach but it takes a special person to be a great teacher, just as any one can fight but it takes a special fighter to be great. Get the point?

I don't think either fighter has the patience to be a great trainer.
Great fighters does not equal great trainers.

You can't teach heart, you can't teach guts and you can't teach determination, well maybe Tony Robbins can con you in that last area but the others can't be taught.

And the Corralles fight was a master peice....I dont remeber Chico landing ONE Significant punch.
There are some things I could refute here, but I was initially wrong by saying he never had a plan B and you and Ex are right with these examples. That said, I still don't think he'd make a good trainer. If he does someday become a great trainer, God bless him. It would be great to see such a talent be able to transfer his skills to somebody not as gifted.

i truly believe that floyd could be a great trainer...bhop doesn't really care much for the science of it...well let me rephrase...he cares for his science of it and not the general science...he has a door jamming style...not really taught by trainers...floyd has more of a well rounded and intelligent style...

plus the mayweathers have it in their blood to box...i believe that floyd has the patience to train...he's been around it for years...both his uncles and his father do it...that video there is a bit of proof...yeah he was telling the guy how he did it and not how to...but that comes with any coach...learning it comes with repetition...either way...all of them will remain in the sport long after the fights...

as for bhop...like said earlier...i think he's more into the business side of things...

If they really wanted to they would be great trainers IMO.
I think only Hopkins of the two would realistically be a very good Trainer.

i would like to see PBF trained a boxer this early..
imagine if his boxer is getting owned and he will diss his fighter during the post fight and issue a fight on the winner.. that would be sweet.. WWE style..

Perhaps they could work together. Floyd could teach them how to run, and Bhop could teach them how to hug and headbutt....wait a minute, who should they get in to do the boxing training?
