After retirement.....Floyd and Hopins could be great boxing trainers.

Floyd will train his kids for sure. That is where he will be most interested. He may train some future big names, but his true interest will be in making his kids stars.
After his fighting career is over, he will disappear for a while. Once his partying days and fast lane life is over, he will be back in the sport again. It is in his blood and he will not walk away for good.Comment

It doesn't matter how much you know. Its CAN YOU TEACH.
Floyd probably can't teach **** seeing how much of a ****in ass he is. Dont get me wrong, Im calling him an ass but I love his style. He is just a ****in ******* though, you can't deny that. Hell, Roger and Sr. talk **** but they dont spew ******ed **** out the mouth like Floyd does when talking "intellectually".
Hopkins CAN teach and would be a great coach. Honestly, I dont have a style like him but he taught me how to box. Everything from jabbing to body hooks. He is the reason why I love the left hook to the body.
I wouldn't mind having Hopkins as a coach. I honestly doubt Floyd can teach.Comment

With the cameras off I think Floyd is a respectable guy...he'll have no reason to talk trash...but for his own fighterComment

I'm no fan of Floyd's public personality, and I agree he takes his **** too far. You and many others do not seem to understand that it is mostly an act. The brashness that truly is his will be humbled with father time as he gets older.
He is a pure craftsman in the ring though, no hate can take that away from him. That craft he will pass on someday and it will be as a trainer.
I've **** on Floyd myself quite a bit in here, but I have never let my dislike for him as an individual overshadow the greatness he displays in the ring. That greatness demands respect from a true fan of the sport. Do I wish he had done things differently? Sure i do, but he like everyone else on this earth will mature with time and give back to the sport.Comment
