You didn't say **** against it...you let it die.
If Floyd said something about mexicans you'll ride him over it non-stop.
You're not even white but look at you..chomping at the bit to SIDE with them.
Oscar said "I'll never lose to a Black..they can't take my punches anyway"
Funny how that **** got swept under and ignored.Comment

What's clever about it when the majority of your audience is white ?
He might make a short buck turning white American's into haters because of this but there is no price you can put on reputation.Comment

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has once again displayed his race baiting antics and his ignorant way of thinking. During a recent video interview with CBS Sports, Mayweather made some wild race baiting comments about white fighters in the sport of boxing. According to Mayweather, there are no white fighters dominating in the sport of boxing and due to that lack of domination, they got together and started mixed martial arts. Those comments were a direct response to his thoughts on the UFC 103 pay-per-view, which goes head-to-head with his pay-per-view bout with Juan Manuel Marquez on September 19. [details]
I think MMA was started with the intent of appealing to a younger white demographic. It's easier for a subset group like that to find the sport enjoyable.
MMA is primitive and is basically a bar room brawl or dormitory frat fight, on full display with guys in tight shirts with sparkles on them or as I like to call them...Gayfliction...oops I mean Affliction.
Apart from the ground game which I still find incredibly boring to watch, MMA in my humble opinion is something I'd rather do if I had no other options including the option to do nothing, which is a notch above in terms of entertainment.
Most people who like MMA that I know happen to fall into the group that Floyd is commenting on. I think he is spot on in this case and I rarely agree with anything he has to say.
I am definitely a person that tends to be open minded towards things, so I went to an MMA event, to cover it live. The atmosphere is spectacular but something is still missing for me, and boxing still provides that missing something. The skill involved and proper techniques used is why it's been called "the sweet science". Perhaps MMA is simply "sweet entertainment".Last edited by switchsouthpaw; 07-21-2009, 03:24 PM.Comment

Add this to the pile of why I never listen or care about what Floyd says.
I disagree about one point in this article there are plenty of American's doing just fine in the sport, other countries are also doing well but it is not like America has a void of talented fighters.Comment

All I have to say is that Cotto/Pacquiao is a done deal and is the
biggest talk in Boxing right now. Negative or Positive Floyd wants
to be the talk of the town. Don't agree with what he said but hey
his choice of words.Comment

Wow! Is he that desperate talking **** without even thinking? I mean just to get attention? Pathetic brother. Mayweather should not expect respect even from his own fans.
I can say he can be the best villain of all boxers man. But this **** he's putting up in this interview is just way too much over his airy head.Comment
