Figures you would stand behind and defend Floyd's ridiculous and racist comments.

The Clarence Thomas comment further cements your ignorance.

Let's not make this about ethnicity. I have not seen him say it and have only read a small portion of the article but if he said it I will agree that his arrogance has gone too far. I was fine with all the stuff he used to say, but this goes over the top. He might be getting desperate and he's starting to crack.

Just because Floyd made that argument does not mean we have to follow his lead. Who cares? Like a fighter for his style, personality or even national origin...but don't like him just because of his ethnic stock. That's just ******.

When I get home I am going to verify this for my own benefit (cannot view much at work) and if it's true I will lose a TON of respect for Floyd. Depends on context, though.

      • Mayweather's Race Baiting, Ignorance Comes Out Again

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has once again displayed his race baiting antics and his ignorant way of thinking. During a recent video interview with CBS Sports, Mayweather made some wild race baiting comments about white fighters in the sport of boxing. According to Mayweather, there are no white fighters dominating in the sport of boxing and due to that lack of domination, they got together and started mixed martial arts. Those comments were a direct response to his thoughts on the UFC 103 pay-per-view, which goes head-to-head with his pay-per-view bout with Juan Manuel Marquez on September 19. [details]

                  • GOOD GOD this man is probably one of the most ignorant people i have ever heard speak about this type of subject, he does however have amazing boxing skills and is great at what he does this will probably help his ppv sales for his upcoming fight but really there are plent of black fighters that are being noticed, Paul Williams, B-Hop, Shane Mosely, Mayweather himself, and many more just take a look at the super middle weight tourney if anything white fighters are being undershadowed and its not becuase people are racist its just because there arent as many top white fighters out there right now...Mayweather is just lookin for and publicity to hype his fight and is doing a damn good job of it gotta give him credit

I think mayweather has come to the conclusion he'll never be a fan favorite or icon. He'll only be the guy everyone loves to hate. So at this point the more people that hate him the better so he really dosent give a **** anymore about what he says or does. Its sad because im sure hes not like that out side of boxing but it true.
