Im not very knowledgable about MMA. Was the sport every dominated by white fighters at any point?Specifally the american leauges such as UFC.If so how long has it been since they dominated?

If we're starting when Unified rules took over the UFC...from 2000 to today....I'd say white folk were pretty abundent in the UFC as champions till 2004, I believe. The only minority to dominate before then was Tito.

Right now, it's a good mix. But I say most belt holders right now are Brazilian.

Dominated....no. The only dominate white guy during that time, I'd say was Matt Hughes. All the rest of the "dominaters" either lost their belt to injury or contract problems.

There was an abundance of white wrestler types in the UFC mainly thanks to RAW (Rua Assault Wrestling/Real Actual Wrestling) and how it shown how wrestlers could hang in the sport.
