If this was back 15+ years ago, the statement would actually ring true. I don't think he is being racist or ignorant. He knows exactly what he is doing. He is playing the role and making the news.

We may not agree with what he says. We all know he is way off base. Floyd does not care though because the more noise he makes, regardless of it being just noise, it will gain interest for his fight.
