I'm not sure what you are getting at. But Pankration or anything close to it isn't practiced in MMA. BJJ is and it's a young art. Pankration probably wouldn't even work in comparison.

Looks like Pankration applies to MMA. Just because a fighter doesn't have specified "Pankration" style. Doesn't mean it's not in it.

Mixed Martial Arts is just martial arts from everywhere brought into a competition. Martial Arts is the same now as when the first civilization created set ways of fighting. Full body fighting always existed before strictly punching.
