Agreed Berto is still being treated like he is some shooting star like Ortiz..was..
Mosely Berto would most likely be an ok fight but we all know a Berto Collazo II is the one that would gain the most interest. I do think that Berto's management will avoid a Collazo rematch much like Hattons team did, hence DiBella is pushing for a different fight.Last edited by luxor311; 07-18-2009, 01:08 PM.Comment

They don't want to fight Mosley, or else they would jump at the chance at it. $750,000 is still a decent payday. If Berto beats him, it makes him a star.Agreed Berto is still being treated like he is some shooting star like Ortiz..was..

berto needs to just fight mosley and cash out, who knows if he will ever be a star but atleast he can make some dough fighting mosley.Comment

And Dan Goosen offered a $3 million payday for Mosley to fight Paul Williams. This goes to show you that a Berto fight would bring less money to Mosley. And he wouldn't get as much credit for the victory. But on the other hand, I don't know why Paul Williams and Kelly Pavlik aren't making an effort to fight each other. I guess it could be that HBO doesn't have enough money in their budget to finance that fight. I guess they are too busy over paying Berto to fight guys like Collazo and Urango.Comment

What fight does he deserve than?
He's a champ and everyone wants to see him in tough.
Should he just fight cans for another 2 years?
I would like to see him against Mosley, not saying he would beat Shane, but I would like to see that fight.Comment

So Collazo is a can? Hmm I wonder what Hatton and Mosley think of that. Urango also made Berto and Hatton look like boring slugs. Berto has shown us he is not much better than Urango or Collazo, Berto has still a long way to go.Comment
