Anyways, Berto better knock Aydin out if he accepts that offer to go to Turkey to fight, last time a government paid for a fight Caballero ended up winning a controversial decision.
If you know anything about Oscar De La Hoya, you will know that this is common practice for him. He lowballs every fighter he has ever fought or put on one of his cards. That was why there was no rematch between him and Felix Trinidad or Mayweather. If you have ever seen one of the undercards on his PPV, you will see nothing but garbage fights because he doesn't want to pay top fighters what they deserve, so he throws C and D-class fighters on his undercards but still charges 50 bucks. I hope Berto turns the offer down. That will leave Mosley with no dance partner for at least a year, unless he chooses to fight Zab Judah or Paul Williams. If he does, he will have to give them a lot more than he is willing to pay Berto.

He should low ball Berto.. who the **** is Berto?? what has he done seriously Shane is former p4p n1 and current Champion at 37!!

Only dumb thing he has done is not fight yet! he should be keeping in shape i would love to see him face Clottey a real and good fighter, unlike Berto.
I wouldn't have fought there again also. Even Tito was fighting in Las Vegas. Fights with Hoya, Vargas, and Wright were here. I know Cotto has fans that will follow him to Vegas or CA to fight Mosley. Tito had them, Hatton had them, and other fighters had travling fans.

As for Shane keeping in shape. He is alright and doesn't have to worry about nothing. Fighters like him and Hop keep in shape when there not fighting. Other fighters gain weight.

Cotto don't want known of Williams like you said.

Berto just wants to make as much money as possible. He doesn't care about his legacy like a lot of these young fighters. Its a damn shame and it hurts the sport.

Don't worry about Shane pimp. He will be fighting this fall. If not he will in line to fighting Floyd after JMM. He may be the first option if Pac and him don't agree on a deal.

It just shows that he was overpaid for the Collazo and Urango fights.

I am very interested in the Turkish government getting involved to lure Andre Berto to Turkey to take on some amateur standout with a 19-0 record. What do they see in Selcuk Aydin? I have seen nothing so I can't say.

Wouldn't it be funny if Berto took the money to fight the Turkish guy?

Ahh, the laughing stock that has become HBO and Golden Boy.

Berto should take the fight to get the name on his resume. Then Mosely will be put to pasture and we can all move on.

berto needs to understand that he was boring in the urango fight with all the holding.

the collazo fight was only exciting because berto almost lost.
