Problem is that CALZAGHE is not american.
If he was american he would be probably TOP 10 ATG of all time!

And Calzaghe fought Old washed up European Bums to keep his Whack ass WBO title. The WBO is a joke. Calzaghe will always be remembered as the man who hid behind a country his entire career until the ATG's of our era got old. ITs obvious.

What, Calzaghe ducked Hopkins when he was younger?? Calzaghe? Come on get your facts straight. Warren made a lucrative offer for a Calzaghe-Hopkins fight, like he did for the Tszyu-Hatton fight, in which Tszyu earned his biggest career-payday. He offered him 3M $ which was a jackpot compared to the 300K $ Hopkins received for the Daniels-fight, which was the first fight after the Tito-victory.
Showtime was involved, DonKing was ok, Warren was ok, Calzaghe was ok and suddenly Hopkins doubled his demads which was delusional. In the Calzaghe-book Warren, DK and the vize-president of SHO confirmed the story, so **** off.
So Hopkins stayed at MW and fought another WW in DLH. Calzaghe beat Mikkel Kessler who would kill DLH and Tito head-to-head. So whats more impressive?
But you are just another dumb ignorant yank. Otherwise you would not mention the Jones-fight because it's pointless legacy-wise. Calzaghe was a great fighter before he fought Jones, and he had more impressive wins anyway. It was a farewell-fight, and Calzaghe looked ok. Nothing more.

theres a reason why joe didn't give hopkins or kess a rematch. he beat them both and a rematch didn't motivate him anymore, if the fight doesn't motivate you then why take it? as for b-hop if he had wanted to the fight could have been made in 2002 but he ducked out.

calzaghe was a stellar amateur and its easy to see why, fast hands and he throws alot of punches. hes also a southpaw and can take a shot, he also won three ABA title at different weights.

calzaghe is a better fighter than b-hop and theres no question over that in my mind. his resume is also slightly better, alot of people forget that eubank was old but far from shot. anyone who think he was shot should just watch his performances at CW (bear in mind he started out at 160) vs carl thompson.

hopkins on the other hand failed in his first big test vs RJJ.

calzaghe then went on to defeat the heir to his throne in a great fight with kessler and again hopkins lost to the fighter who was heir to his throne, Jermain Taylor.

hopkins ducked him plain and simple

an old calzaghe beat an old hopkins, i seriously can't see how anyone would rank hopkins as a better fighter than joe

if you had to send one of the two out to win on your life vs RJJ at 168 you'd send out calzaghe every time
