Did you know that CALZAGHE beat CHRIS BYRD in amateurs?

What a ****** comment from a very ****** guy.
Calzaghe wasn't a big name in the US, thats for sure. But he had some decent wins over Woodhall or Brewer. But this is not the point.
It's about the money. Hopkins purse against Daniels were peanuts, and the 3M $ would have been a career high-payday (including the Tito-fight), wo why not take the fight?? In these times Calzaghe-Hopkins would not sell 20tickets on American soil because Hopkins was never a draw.
Tszyu went to the UK for the Hatton fight, because if it makes money if makes sense.
All in al it is delusional to say Calzaghe ducked Hopkins.Comment

blah blah blah
the belt doesn't have anything to do with a person's defenses.
you talk as if just because a guy is defending an ibf belt it's automatically better than defenses of the wbo belt.
so when barrera had a wbo belt......when hamed had a wbo belt.......when tapia had a wbo belt......when cotto had the wbo belt......when freitas had a wbo belt........they had weaker defenses than the guys with the ibf belt?

But all of those fighters you just named did just keep that belt for ten years and do **** about unifying. they went after big names to get other belts or to make their legacy better.blah blah blah
