Truth is, nobody would know how he would react to a loss... maybe he would come back hungrier and stronger, maybe not, who knows.
A serious floyd jr. Question

SSM ain't gettin KO'd, the rest would. I pick Mr boat buyer to UD SSM, but he's the toughest test, even if he is the older of all those guys. And WTF you bring Pwill into this for Burner? He ain't a WW, and would be last in line even past Cotto and SSM if he was.Comment

I don't don't think so, Mayweather vs JLC ring a bell?, a fight that most agree could have gone either way and alot of people had him losing it, that didn't break him down. Faught Hernandez with a broken hand, wen't one-handed and won, messed up his right against Augutus threw a series of lefts and stopped Augutus, Mayweather isn't a mentally weak fighter. I don't think so, no way, atleast not from what I've seen.
As soon as he loses, he'll be the same old Floyd. Even people who have lost have big mouths, Paulie, Tarver, B-Hop and Toney. Why do you think Mayweather is different from the rest?
I agree with you points but I would hope he return to the old floyd before he met Castillo. I have an opinion that Castillo-Mayweather 2 is the fight that he started the whole potshotting technique against the bigger fighters.Comment

Hes the easiest to hit...Shane doesnt even pretend to dodge right hands and thats Floyd best punch...Shane will get throughly out boxed..hes going to fight EXTRA cautious aginst Floyd in fear of being countered and caught off balance...aginst argarito Shane can swing for the fences without fear...aginst Floyd shane will look average at best.Comment

He'll lose eventually, becuase he won't stay retired because I think he loves the sport to much whether he makes you believe it or not. It's hard to leave the spotlight and the bigchecks. But everyone loses at some point or another. Someone will have his number. But I think he is way past a point where he can just be hungry like when he was younger. I think you reach a certain point in your career and just lose that and no matter what you can't regain it. It's not the same where you have to be fighting for your life just to make some loot. But I don't see him losing for awhile. I really don't know who will beat him, I just think that he will one day. When he's a little older and past it most likely. And I'm saying that not even really being a Floyd fan.Comment

And the tooth thing that Shane brought up in the interview after the Vargas fight was to clear the way for a Mayweather-Oscar clash. And he didn't have a large time frame to move down to 147 in a two month time frame to fight Mayweather in November after beating Vargas in September at 154. But after Mosley's victory over Collazo and Mayweather's victory over De La Hoya, Mosley was more than happy to fight Mayweather and Floyd took the extremely easier fight in Ricky Hatton. And he did that before Mosley decided to fight Cotto. Mosley was the WBC interim champ and Mayweather didn't want none.Comment
