Scenario: Floyd takes on Mosley, loses via UD. Floyd has some kind of epiphany and loses the "money money money" mentality and wants to avenege the Loss so bad, that he actually starts to realize the potential and greatness that EVERYONE expected from him. Comes back to soundfully UD Mosely and other top WW and JMW.....boxes for another 4-5 years, cements his Legacy and rides off into the sunset retired AND RICH.

Maybe he NEEDS to be beaten, for the sake of boxing and for his Legacy.....remember....real champions and legends are remembered for their battles...not for their records and the size of their wallet.

Just something that I was thinking....think about it....what real LEGEND or CHAMPION didn't have flaws in their game or went un-defeated.....**** Michael Jordan was dunked on by John Starks in a Playoff Game, Kevin Johnson ****ted on "The Dream" in a Playoff game, Ali had losses, Frazier had losses, Lebron "supposedly" got dunked on (sorry had to throw that in there).

My opinion.....Floyd needs to "lose"...in order to come out of boxing a "winner".

    DISCUSS?
losing is pbf's biggest fear, so if he loses then maybe he'll start making the fights that fans want.

I don't don't think so, Mayweather vs JLC ring a bell?, a fight that most agree could have gone either way and alot of people had him losing it, that didn't break him down. Faught Hernandez with a broken hand, wen't one-handed and won, messed up his right against Augutus threw a series of lefts and stopped Augutus, Mayweather isn't a mentally weak fighter. I don't think so, no way, atleast not from what I've seen.

As soon as he loses, he'll be the same old Floyd. Even people who have lost have big mouths, Paulie, Tarver, B-Hop and Toney. Why do you think Mayweather is different from the rest?

the more i think about it, a loss maybe good for him. it would make him hungry again and he wouldnt hav to worry about losing his "0" cause it would be already gone. floyd's a great fighter he just needs to get that hunger back

So your thinking is that IF Floyd loses...we can all kiss him good bye for good? If that is the case...SOME REAL CHAMP HE TURNED OUT TO BE....
Dont respect him, he's a pedophile.

The best opponent on his resume is a prime Castillo. None of Floyd's opponents since then have went on to do anything meaningful. Sharmba Mitchell went on to get sparked by Paul Williams. Baldomir went on to get his ass handed to him by a past it and one-armed Vernon Forrest. And countless opponents on Floyd's resume have went on to get stopped by Cotto. And we know the story with Hatton and De La Hoya. And isn't it funny that he hasn't fought one opponent that went on to beat his left overs?

Wrong, best name on his resume is Corrales, then JLC.
