I sure hope Floyd Mayweather isn't overlooking Juan Manuel Marquez. Or he might see his lotto ticket go out the window or, if Marquez makes it tight, watch his bargaining position fall.

It's not an easy fight, with Marquez getting some extra time to prepare and Floyd accumulating more rust. And Pacquiao doesn't have a walk-through either; a Cotto win is a real possibility. But at least he's acting like it. Much of what's come out of Pac's mouth has been about his next fight while Floyd keeps talking about him. It's worked for him in the past but the pressure shows in his words. It's going to be a very, very interesting Fall.

If the second Oscar fight didnt happen because Floyd wouldnt take less than Oscar, what makes anyone think Floyd will let Manny get a split, doesnt make any sense.

Yes but if he's learned from his mistakes he won't do that again. And turning down that easy payday was a bad decision by Mr. "If it makes dollars, it makes sense." He's still wishing Oscar would fight him again lol.

Perhaps the July 18 clash between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Juan Manuel Marquez wasn't so highly anticipated after all. Sources close to the

If that's not enough, just go on any search engine and look it up and you'll find plenty of articles about the poor ticket sales.

Schaeffer said the opposite, he is a little closer to the situation, I know he's with Golden Boy but ya know.

I think the rumors are true. If Shane is an executive of GBP, then he is not that good in promoting a fight.

I mean who needs who here? What will beating Manny Pacquaio do for Floyd Mayweather Jr? Absolutely nothing. People will say that Floyd was too big, which is true. Floyd would decapitate Manny and sell Manny's family into the Filipino sex slave trade.

Floyd doesn't need Manny Pacquiao. He is content fighting others for 70/30 splits and 15 million dollar guarantees from HBO.

They should get even money and let the winner have the rest. **** that.

There is so much money on the table for a fight like this and it won't happen because they are too ****** to realize that 50/50 is fair and equitable.

They don't deserve to make the money if they can't see that.

I for one think that we will never see this fight.
50/50 is at the very least 10 mill each. I agree we will never see this fight.
