Two blood and guts Warriors who left us too soon. I still think about the excitement these two would have produced in the ring together. Rest In Piece Champs.

Somewhere up in heaven or down in hell or wherever these crazy SOBs ended up, there's still a chance of this bloody war happening. But we won't be lucky enough to see it.
Gatti and Corrales fought and lived with the same reckless intensity, and the two of them together (remember, they were only one weight class apart from 2004 to 2006) would have produced a guaranteed classic. If you thought Corrales-Jose Luis Castillo was fun, or Gatti-Micky Ward packed action, just imagine what it would have been like if the more dramatic fighter in each pairing got paired together. Gatti vs. Corrales would have featured 83 knockdowns, 47 horrific cuts, and 65 F-bombs apiece from Joe Goossen and Buddy McGirt. And that's all prior to the start of round two.
