So who will Wladimir Klitschko fight next?

Atlas said that Povetkin will fight a tune-up at the beginning of September and then fight Wlad at the end of September, unless I misunderstood because of his grotesque accent.

I just heard Atlas say September. I've read elsewhere that Povetkin will apply for an extension of his mandatory status for another few months. His fight with Wlad is currently due by Sep 13.

Wlad vs Arreola or Chambers

Wlad already beat the **** out of Arreola in sparring. Arreola admitted it in a boxingscene video interview. Wlad also called out Arreola after Haye bitched out, Arreola turned down the fight because he knows he would get destroyed by Wlad.

Wlad/Chambers will probably happen next, it will be a replay of Wlad/Byrd. Another dominant KO win for Wlad.

chambers or arreola.I think it's arreola in staple center.I was right I knew teddy would train him.there is one thing the Russians do & that's train hard.atlas will love working with him & will be able to give him some if those American intangibles.the left hook & clinching if needed.he's not a finisher but povetkin is only 17 fights in & teddy always said a guy with a long amateur bsckground should be fighting good competition early.that's exactly what he has done.his people are solid & fed him no stiffs & it's paid off.povetkin will be ready to try & win the title not just showing up for the pay day.steward said arreola is the guy he wants wlad to fight because he will make wlad fight out of his comfort zone.I want arreola but he could get the chambers mandatory out of the way too.maybe valuev is in the mix but I doubt it.

I don't think Wlad wants to wait around until Povetkin's ready in December or January 2010. So he will likely fight someone else...

I think the logical choice is Eddie Chambers, his WBO mandatory.

But will HBO make it complicated? Will they want to show some other fight no one wants to watch instead? If they do, he should forget about them and move on, since he'll still make about $12,000,000 and Eddie would make a few million (his biggest payday ever) even without HBO.
