Wlad always fights the best available opponents, unless it's a mandatory like Austin.

Wlad vs Povetkin will most likely happen next, my prediction is Povetkin will have a tune up in early September and fight Wlad in October.

I don't think Wlad wants to wait around until Povetkin's ready in December or January 2010. So he will likely fight someone else...

I think the logical choice is Eddie Chambers, his WBO mandatory.

But will HBO make it complicated? Will they want to show some other fight no one wants to watch instead? If they do, he should forget about them and move on, since he'll still make about $12,000,000 and Eddie would make a few million (his biggest payday ever) even without HBO.
I don't understand why Povetkin is procrastinating his title shot with Wlad. I say- take the shot, there's no guarantees that you'll get another....

I'm HOPING Wlad is in negotiations with Chambers right now for an October fight.

He shouldn't wait until Dec 12 for Povetkin.

                I totally agree.

If Wlad can tap Chambers then Povetkin his legacy is absolutely secure. Chamber has impressed me massively recently. Peter then Dimenkrenko (spelling?) is no small feat considering the weight deficit. No substitute for skills in boxing.

Unless the name of his next opponent is either Nikolai Valuev or David Haye, I don't really care.

Why he isn't fighting Haye is still a mystery, he had a sparring session on tv, his last fight was a joke he didn't even get hit with anything. Why could he not fight Haye anyway? He talked all that **** and still is gonna have his brother clean it up for him again. Thats why Vitali would win if they fought, Wlad sends Vitali when he's scared and he couldn't in that fight. Eventually they will fight i know it.
