and casa and diaz didnt even dominate him early on, they just stole a few rounds, casa with his smart and southpaw stance and diaz with his relentless pressure

JMM might have looked pretty flustered, especially with diaz slamming into him like a bull, but he was always going to shift into a different gear and take over, as soon as he started timing those shots up the middle vs diaz i knew he was gonna bring it home with the KO down the stretch

Casamayor was shot and Juan Diaz was knocked out for 4 full min in sparring prior to the Campbell fight, which he lost!!

sure hes getting older...but it looks like he's getting smarter and more accurate..kinda like Barrera did..u gotta be able to make these adjustments as u get older cuz u cant go to war forever.

And on the Diaz fight...I had Diaz up by 2 rounds..Diaz was out working him..Marquez was trying to go toe to toe with him early and thats what ****ed him up...once he started picking his shots and relied more on his great counter punching..it was Buenos noches for my boy Diaz.

what made JMM's late run possible is his hunger... his heart & mind is still up there with the elites...

his body & reflexes though still capable, appear to be not on the same high level with that incredible fighting heart & mind of his in those 2 fights u mentioned...

Well he is 35 years old, so he can't be in his prime anymore but I still think he has a lot left in the tank for a great fight.

                    I disagree.

Casamayor was past his prime but still a good fighter with a good skillset plus had never been stopped before, Marquez was able to box with him and knocked him out.

Diaz is a big lightweight who is a very good pressure fighter, He was able to make Marquez fight his bollocks off early, Marquez was able to weather the storm, fight back and knock out Diaz for the first time.

                    Thats impressive imo.
