To be honest with you I havent been online much lately and havent been keeping up with the Pac-Cotto negotiations. But what kind of ******ed logic did you use to come to the conclusion that Pacquiao wanted to fight Cotto in October so he could fight Floyd in december???

It would be a near physicial impossibility for them to fight december 15th even if all your ******ed conditions are met.

pacquioa will get a hell of a lot of credit whoever he fights and he knows mayweather would probably beat him so i doubt he would be that upset if the fight isnt made

It doesn't make sense. He asked for Oct 17 which is just 2month away from Dec 15. It's too short a time to get yourself ready in today's modern practice.

I think it's more likeky that Floyd wants to fight Pac. Why go fight jmm if you want shake of that ring rusts. I can think of 2 reason out of the back of my head.
1. If pbf beats jmm easily, he can use it as leverage over pac for the best p4p argument and/or future purse negotiations. Mainstream fans will not mind the size advantage of pbf.
2. Get himself ready for the catch-weight which will also be a critical point in case of a pac-pbf fight.

As for pac's decision, I believe that he just want to get ready early for election. I'm from the Philippines and a lot of politicians are already posturing. Labeling their obvious campaign strategy as information commercials.
